I feel extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to spend a week in the beautiful country of Colombia and then make it back in time to spend Thanksgiving with my family. Book your holiday appointment now! My December calendar is filling fast. Waiting list is in full effect as well. With the holidays comes cancellations, and you might be able to get an appointment even if I don’t have an opening. Four people on my waiting list got in last week. As long as my peeps give the required 48+ hours notice to cancel, I am almost always able to find a replacement. You can be added to the waitlist online or message me.

“And I have been living in poverty because I couldn’t see my wealth.” These lyrics spoke to me today, and I wanted to share. I just finished a series in my flow class entitled “cultivating joy” and this song goes perfectly with the theme. A few ways you can find joy in your life are to be satisfied with the present moment (even that pain in your back - you are exactly where you’re supposed to be, no stress about the future or regrets about the past), to choose a peaceful perception (we can’t control what happens to us, but we can control how we react), and to be grateful for everything in our lives. Another thing I didn’t mention in class is to practice forgiveness. We can’t be truly happy with resentment in our hearts. I wish joy and peace upon everyone in the world. Thanks for reading. ✌🏽

My classes at Moody AFB are cancelled for the rest of 2025. This government shutdown has had a huge impact on participation. I feel like this is the time we need it most, but people just aren’t showing up. I am hoping to get it going again in January. I spent the weekend attending another incredible Thai massage workshop. I learned an amazing side lying sequence that I can’t wait to try on my peeps today. I now have around 300 hours of continuing education in Thai massage, the majority from one mentor, so I guess you could say I specialize in it. It is so wonderful to be able to fill my cup while learning new techniques! It is my honor and privilege to share this beautiful art with others in order to help their bodies heal themselves.

“What a privilege to be overwhelmed by the growth you dreamed about”
I am so honored and blessed that many of you have chosen me to be your bodyworker. I can’t believe I have built this beautiful and thriving business. I am fully booked until mid-November with a waiting list. Many of my clients are making their appointments several at a time to make sure they can get in. I am still accepting new clients, but please be patient with me. It’ll be worth the wait. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for trusting me.

My new electric table is on the way! I’m so excited! I have been extremely reluctant to spend so much money on one thing for my business, but I have faith that it will be worth it in the long run. I’ll no longer have to struggle to change the table height between different services, and, although I feel like my body mechanics aren’t bad, they’ll be even better when I can quickly change the angle I’m working at. Lymphatic drainage sessions require a high table and myofascial release is better performed on a very low table, and everything else is in between. I ordered a super wide one so I can incorporate more Thai on the table too!

A client came in to see me recently, and it had been about a month since her last session. I noticed that all her trigger points (knots, adhesions….) had disappeared! She told me she had been doing the exercises I recommended, and that it had made a big difference. This made my day! Almost all my bodywork clients get homework, and if they do it, they will get results much faster. All the years I spent personal training, and specifically working on muscle imbalances, really helps me be a better massage therapist. My goal is to help my people become pain free. I’m not scared of losing clients. I really want them to truly heal!
