Join us for a special session with Dr. Noor Mukarram DO! She’ll be sharing her journey to dermatology and what life is like as a first-year resident. We’ll have moderated Q&A plus time for your live questions.

👇 Speaker Bio:
Hi Touro! I’m Noor Mukarram, a PGY-1 dermatology resident currently completing my transitional year at Abrazo Health in Goodyear, Arizona. I matched dermatology at Larkin Palm Springs and will be moving to Miami next year!
I’m a AZCOM grad, and consider myself an Arizona native at this point even though I’ve lived all over and was born overseas. I’m passionate about tackling healthcare inequities, especially when it comes to dermatology and access to care.
Outside of medicine, I’m a matcha lover, Pilates addict, cat-mom, and I love traveling and experiencing new cultures with my husband. I’m actually in Kyoto, Japan as I write this!
As a first-gen DO, I’m passionate about connecting with and supporting current med students, particularly my fellow DOs.
I’m so honored to speak with you all! Thanks for taking time out of your day to chat with me.

“Because I have a family history of skin cancer and spent way too much time in the sun as a kid, I decided to work as an MA in dermatology. There, I fell in love with the field because it allows for long-term patient relationships of all ages, it’s creative, and patients mostly leave your office feeling better both physically and emotionally.”
