The Fool.
The first card of the Major Arcana. He begins his journey and invites you to come along.

He may not know what's in store for him, and maybe he doesn't even have a plan. But one thing he does have is Courage and Faith.

He chooses to fully step off that cliff into the unknown, bringing along only his memories and his faithful canine companion.

He may have lost his head to overthinking! So he just goes. He just DOES. He just takes that leap.

Trust and faith that it will be ok.

Another tarotcard comparison this time it's the 5 of Pentacles. On the left, you see the Rider Waite version, and on the right is Tarot of Tales.
Same card - very different feelings.

In the RW version we have 2 seemingly sad and destitute people - unallowed inside the warm and glowing church although it's freezing outside. It feels like they just don't have what it takes to gain entrance to the sanctuary or have been banished to a life of misery.

In the Tarot of Tales version, we see a lone person walking through a valley in a treacherous, mountainous environment. Personally this card feels to me like "insurmountable odds."

But we see the connection in the isolation although the RW has 2 people and TOT only has one.

Why? Perhaps this person was sent into exile and is feeling hopeless and alone, with a lack of resources to get him where he needs to go.

Or is it about SURVIVAL but with limited resources?

Here is a very different depiction of the 9 of Swords from good tarot. It really gives me a holy card feeling...note the angels and doves.

Colette Baron Reid interprets this as having no fear, as well as and due to our connection to Spirit.
You know those nights that you wake up gasping from a nightmare?

Its only thoughts in your head. You are safe. You are right where you are supposed to be.

Absolutely love this from .Her facial expression just nails the meaning of this card. She's gloomy and distracted , reflecting on all the things in her life that she wishes were otherwise.

She completely misses the cup (opportunity) offered by Spirit's outstretched hand.

Life certainly has its ups and downs. But we must try not to get so focused on the negatives that we miss the beauty and wonder that is right in front of us.

What opportunities are you missing??

Just did this challenge from and yeah.

Trying to rebuild after major sudden health issues in my family. Cold an dreary weather definitely dragged me further down. Not much positivity earlier this month.

But I'm currently learning from the past and trying to re-alchemize the debris into manifestation of a better life.

Reading for the collective

Although the holidays are upon us already, this week calls for some deep introspection and may be characterized by emotions running high.

In fact, we have gone through some painful things in the last few months. The holidays aren't necessarily the brightest times for many. Either we get too immersed with all the preparations and material concerns and neglect to nurture our spiritual side... or we have no family to celebrate with. There may be a feeling of isolation and loneliness particularly if we are like the penguin on the top of the mountain on the 7 of wands card and are trying to defend ourselves to others. We still have the upper hand. But it can be isolating when we feel like others disagree with our beliefs or actions.

Still, we can celebrate giving thanks for what we do have. Gratitude is everything... we have to try to stay humble and grateful at the same time so we can attract more of the good things in our life.

Whatever we have -Whatever we do- remember to stay strong 💪 and enjoy some good food!!🍗🍗 Appreciate each other.

Like all Aces, this one represents all the qualities of its suit. However, it is POTENTIAL energy.

And in order to activate it, we must put in the hard work and effort to manifest our desires.

With the Owl as your guide, keep your eyes open for opportunities that you might otherwise miss. Then imagine your goal manifested in all its glory.

Ok. This one got me.

I asked the cards what I needed to let go of, but almost in the sense that I was coughing something up or out of my system that was not serving me or my highest good.

And yikes!

Although usually the 5 of Wands is about smaller or minor conflicts and general inability to compromise, this deck took it to a whole other level. Headless bodies and all.

So yeah, gotta let that s* go!!! 😵‍💫😲😲
