Congratulations to Shayla Stock, our BRAVO! Employee of the Quarter. Shayla's nominator wrote this about her: "When I think of our values and our standards of performance and employees who demonstrate these characteristics, Shayla comes to mind. I feel she exemplifies each one to the fullest. As our Outpatient Care Coordinator, Shayla works directly with our most vulnerable patients in our OP departments. She works to find solutions with their daily struggles, including transportation needs, housing and shelter needs, medication needs, and food needs. She spends countless hours helping our patients understand their disease processes, new or existing medications, and the importance of maintaining a relationship with their healthcare providers. She will arrange transportation to ensure the patient makes a specialty clinic visit out of town. She works with the local utility companies to help with outstanding bills. There is nothing that she will not try to tackle if it will help the patient’s outcome. Shayla is an unsung hero for so many of our patients. Thank you, Shayla, for sharing your heart and your talents for our patients and our hospital. Your efforts do not go unnoticed."
