Fire Pride Project

Fire Pride Project The Fire Pride Project began in 2007 at Firehouse 14 in Tucson, AZ. Now based in Pasadena, CA, it continues that mission today.

Started by a firefighter for firefighters, it grew into a way to build pride in departments and stations.

Fire Apparatus Engineer Danny Cook—a devoted firefighter, trusted colleague, cherished friend, and loving family member. Danny proudly served the Cal Fire Riverside community on Q90, embodying courage, compassion, and selflessness in every call. He consistently put the safety of others first, often at great personal risk.
While actively engaged in a structure fire in the community of Nuevo, Danny suffered a sudden medical emergency. He immediately received lifesaving measures, but tragically, he passed away.
Beyond the uniform, Danny was known for his kind heart, strong leadership, sense of humor, and deep dedication to his family and fellow firefighters. He was a mentor to many and a source of strength and camaraderie within the fire service. Danny leaves behind his loving family, including three beautiful children, and a legacy of service and sacrifice that will never be forgotten.

All proceeds go to his family

Today we remember the Palisades and Eaton Fires—the lives lost, the families who lost their homes, and the businesses whose dreams were forever changed. We honor the first responders who did everything possible to save lives and protect property during this devastating incident. Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment will never be forgotten.

So proud of my younger brother! Firefighter Robert Romo @ is living proof that awareness isn’t just about talking - it’s about taking action. Because one small moment of awareness, one email, one self-check, can save a life.

He trusted his gut, pushed for answers, and caught testicular cancer early. Ten months later, he’s cancer-free and sharing a message every man needs to hear.
