Camarillo Amber's Light Lions Club The Club is currently meeting at 5:30PM at the Camarillo Community Center, 1605 Burnley St, Room 6 on the second and fourth Mondays of the month.

Club members work together in service to our community, supporting organizations in the areas of Hunger, Vision/Hearing/Disabilities, Seniors, Youth, Pediatric Cancer, Diabetes, and the Environment. We welcome visitors and prospective members. Lions Club International is the world’s largest service organization with more than 1.3 million members in more than 200 countries. Since 1917, Lions Clubs have aided the blind and visually impaired and made a strong commitment to community service and serving youth throughout the world.

On January 17th, the Amber's coordinated with the YMCA to hold a fundraiser for Sleep in Heavenly Peace. This non-profit builds beds for kids in our county who are sleeping on floors. A special thank you goes out to Kathy Bergh who led the line dancing classes for this very successful, raising $1480!

On January 10th, the Amber's Light Lions hosted their first blood drive of the year at the YMCA. We had a very good turnout, filling every slot on the schedule and collecting 20 pints of blood.

Lions Clubs International President A.P. Singh is joining Lions and Leos from around the United States at the Rose Parade! They are working hard to build Lions International’s “In Harmony We Serve” float, which will debut at the Tournament of Roses Parade on Thursday, January 1.

Make sure to tune into the Rose Parade on January 1 at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, and celebrate how Lions are changing the world, one community at a time. You can watch the parade through streaming services or one of the several official broadcast partners of the Rose Parade.

Amber’s Light Lions and Conejo Valley Lions Clubs partnered with Owie BowWowie Foundation and delivered Lil’ Owies to the Ronald McDonald Family Room at VCMC. Owie BowWowies mission is to comfort the hurts and hearts of children.
And, we delivered some Magic Yarn Project princess wigs and superhero beanies for little cancer fighters.
