Here are a few links to some research articles on Body Tempering for those interested in more info! Body Tempering is by no means the next “big fix” or cure-all but it can be a great intervention.
It can help improve circulation, recovery from exercise, mobility, and muscle strength while reducing muscle soreness, tension, myofacial issues, and stress.
One thing I have personally noticed is that some people that have a hard time relaxing under human touch have much better results relaxing under an inanimate object. It reminds me a bit of Temple Grandin’s “squeeze shoot” she developed for her self to calm her nervous system because she didn’t like hugs from people.
