How does the Easter Bunny stay fit?
With lots of eggs-ercise! 🐰

The Rise Center Rescue Ranchers started the week 3/30 with an egg hunt on the ranch... Smiles and laughter for each egg found. Even the chickens wanted in on the colorful eggs!
It was then off to the barn to check on our incubating eggs and see what stage of growth the chicks are at... We should have baby chicks hatching soon!
We split into our groups for horse care and paint and Sip (apple juice). It was a beautiful day full of sunshine, learning and friendships!
A very special thank you to the generous neighbor of Florida Rescue Ranch for providing t-shirts to each client and staff! Everyone is excited to wear them proudly next week!!

On Monday morning our Florida Rescue Ranch program was quite happy to start the session feeding horses and getting hands on experience! "Red" is absolutely a beautiful horse who was more than happy to receive all the attention! The first group of rescue ranchers learned all about the anatomy of a horse and did you know... Horses have a frog...and do you know where it is? We groomed, gave lots of love and Red returned that love right back at us!
Everyone was also very "egg-cited" to check the incubator to see how all of our chicks are growing.
Rescue ranchers were able to identify the eyes and see movement in the eggs! We're going to hatch babies! 🐣
Candling the eggs to see the growth is definitely a favorite!!
The other group spent the morning creating animal masterpieces during a paint and Sip (apple juice) session. Everyone chose an animal and got busy painting and enjoying time with friends and staff at the ranch.
Next week we will switch groups so everyone has the same experiences and hands on care of the horses.

The comprehensive Red group in Vero Beach enjoyed a morning of bowling with friends! Always one of our favorite outings!
