Dear Friends and Supporters,

I am delighted and honored to share that Thrive has been featured in the March edition of LIV VERO Magazine.

It’s an honor to see the work of our organization and community highlighted in this way. It is with your partnership, support, and belief in our mission that Thrive’s work stands out on this platform. Your support allows us to protect and empower our community through prevention and recovery services. We are working to build a more connected system of care for individuals and families in our community starting with health promotion, prevention, through to recovery so that we all benefit from a strong and healthy Indian River County.

While we are humbled by the recognition, we also see it as just the beginning. There is still much work ahead, and we’re excited about the impact we can continue to make together.

-With Gratitude,

Carrie Lester, CEO Thrive IRC

Woot woot!!

Congratulations to Thrive IRC on receiving a Golden Impact Award for their Prevention Works! program.

The Golden Impact Award recognizes agencies that successfully meet all of their contracted program outcomes for the year. This recognition reflects a strong commitment to accountability, effective service delivery, and measurable impact for children and families in Indian River County.

Through Prevention Works!, Thrive IRC provides evidence-based prevention programs designed to promote healthy choices and reduce risk behaviors among youth. As a CARF accredited organization licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families, Thrive IRC delivers prevention services through the Substance Awareness Center using a comprehensive approach.

These strategies include universal prevention programs that reach all youth in grades 5 through 8, indicated prevention programs that support youth identified as engaging in health risk behaviors, and community prevention efforts that bring partners together through coalitions to strengthen public health.

Thank you to Thrive IRC for your continued dedication to prevention, education, and supporting the well-being of young people in our community.
