I came to this program over 20 years ago it was an alternative to a jail sentence it was an alternative to save my life. I didn’t know much about how to live & be a Christian. I thought it was just an elite group of people. I thought it was only for good people , pure people , people not like me. But I was wrong. It took me a while to believe, but I learned I was one of those He died for ! Jesus died on the cross for me too , and once I found that freedom and once I was able to live from that identity it completely changed my life. It’s a lifestyle that changes you from the inside out it gives you the freedom and the space to do it at your own pace because God is patient and kind. this program helped in so many ways , it taught me work ethic , how to be a team player , working with and not against each other , how to lift others up along with gaining my own confidence, it gave me tools that I needed to learn in order to change. I learned to recognize behaviors that were actually preventing me from being free & I learned to identify the lies that I was believing . It’s a complete transformation and it doesn’t take three months or six months it takes a lifetime ! You know we all want people to look at us , as someone of value , someone of worth and purpose but if we don’t believe it ourselves we are guilty of extinguishing the light inside us! We play a part in our own destruction. Jesus said it all when he said “ you must believe “
believe that you can change, believe that He is who He says He is and He will do what He says He will do and if you need help it’s programs like this that will equip you with the truth and the strength, the time , the patience and the tools to do it!! We all believe in something whether it’s good or bad or right or wrong . we all hope for something why not believe that no matter what’s happened to you you can change and you can rise above it ! why not believe that those hurts your holding onto can be healed & transformed into something beautiful
why not hope for a better future. What have you really got to lose?
Don’t look at this as something you have to do , though that is the reality, you know “ choose life”
But look at this as it’s something you get to do , for you!!
