This last year has been a growing experience for our entire family. Things are progressing and we hope and pray they continue to.
His transplant packet arrived today. He has 8 classes to educate him on what to do before and after the transplant. Paperwork to complete and doctors to meet with. We are staying positive.

John has been doing better today. His appetite has been up and he wasn’t to dizzy. So he got to go for a small walk

I received the results from test that were done on John since Monday. Of course there is the Cirrhosis of the liver. He also had an infection start up in the lining of his stomach. Then they found what they call in medical terms Hepatocellular Carcinoma. This is Liver Cancer. There was a total of 6 tumors found on his liver. 5 of them they are not as concerned about but will address. The one that has caught their attention is 2.8 cm. It is just a bit bigger then a cranberry. The team of Oncologist came in and spoke with us on their next steps they would like to take. John will continue to stay in the hospital while they work on this.
John is staying positive and continues to keep his beautiful smile.

John has been admitted into Houston Methodist. They are having to really watch his blood work. He did have an infection set in. Lots of antibiotics and they are going to be doing a procedure today.
