Thank you all for your interest! I wasn't sure how to turn this into a page where people can post, unknowingly set it up as a "business" which it is most certainly not. If someone has some insight and can message me that would be great!

I'll start this off!! We have a 48-year-old male that was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus. He is maxed on his Metformin XL and presents for a follow-up and refill. His A1C is 7.5% and his current blood sugar is 121. History of HTN, BMI 29, familial history of obesity, T2DM, and one parent died from an MI. What actions or changes would you make (if any) to manage his glycemic index?

Another great resource for NP students to learn from each other as well as established practitioners! Feel free to post questions about concepts, assignments, etc!
