💙🧡🦃 Thank You to Our Incredible Community! 🦃🧡💙

We are overflowing with gratitude for all the amazing volunteers and generous donors who made this year’s JFS Thanksgiving Drive such a success. Your time, energy, and support helped us create a truly meaningful event for our community.

Because of YOU, we were able to give away over 250 turkeys, along with chicken and turkey breasts, ensuring that hundreds of families could enjoy a warm and festive holiday meal. A special thanks to Del Monte , Cinema Cafe , Pivot Dance, VB Kidstrong, Sysco, Food Lion , ALDI USA , Kroger , Takis , and the Girl Scouts of America Troop 957 for their generous donations!

To every volunteer who packed, sorted, loaded, lifted, organized, and greeted with a smile and to everyone who donated food or resources, thank you. Your kindness makes a real difference, and we couldn’t do this without you.

A huge shoutout to 📸 📷 who recognized the need for food security this Thanksgiving and took action in such a creative and meaningful way. She launched Headshots for Hunger Relief, turning her talent into compassion for our community.🦃💙
Thanks to her incredible effort, she raised enough funds to fill 25 Thanksgiving bags and purchase 300 marshmallows! What an amazing and heartfelt gift to help families in need this holiday season.

The JFS Food Pantry was honored to be selected as one of Coastal Virginia Magazine 2025 “Giving Back” charities, one of only 20 organizations chosen. It’s a privilege to be recognized alongside so many impactful nonprofits.

During a time when the need in our community continues to grow, this recognition is a reminder of how vital our work is. Food security matters every day, but it feels especially significant during a holiday centered around sharing a meal. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve, and for everyone who helps make this work possible.
