🎄✨ Our Festive Spirit Week was a blast! ✨🎄

We loved kicking off the holiday season with so much cheer — from holiday sweaters and Candy Cane Day to festive hats and plenty of smiles along the way!

Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the week so merry and bright. The holiday spirit is officially in full swing! ❤️💚

What a night to remember at the Bay Lake Annual Holiday Party! 🎄

Families, residents, and friends gathered for an evening filled with holiday cheer, incredible food from the Taste of RUI team, and wonderful music. Tunes were provided by Stan the Sax Man, The Doorway Singers serenading us with classic Christmas carols, and Art Rowe, creating the perfect festive atmosphere all night long! 🎷

We were also honored to welcome Virginia Beach City Councilman Joashua F. Schulman, District 9, who joined us for this special celebration. Thank you to everyone who made this joyful evening so memorable!

Our Memory Care Inspiritás residents spent the afternoon giving back in the sweetest way — by creating care packages for those in need within our community ❤️

From choosing cozy socks and hygiene items to adding handwritten notes of encouragement, they poured so much love into every bag. Watching their joy and purpose shine through was truly inspiring.

The aroma of cinnamon filled the air this week as our Inspiritàs-Memory Care residents rolled up their sleeves for a fun and flavorful baking activity — making Cinnamon Cupcakes! 🥣

Everyone had such a blast getting hands-on with this project, from mixing the batter to carefully spooning it into cupcake tins. Laughter and smiles filled the kitchen as we shared stories, swapped baking tips, and of course — sampled a little frosting along the way!

Recently, she had an unforgettable time with her wonderful daughter at The Price is Right when the show came to Virginia Beach. They even got to meet the hosts! How amazing is that?! 👏
