Our Inspiritàs Memory Care residents enjoyed a charming afternoon at Prince Tea House VB, where they sipped tea and enjoyed a variety of delicious hors d’oeuvres. The elegant setting made for a relaxing and joyful outing, giving residents the chance to socialize, reminisce, and savor a special experience together. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with laughter and connection.

We rang in the Lunar New Year with the vibrant sounds of traditional instruments, filling our community with music, culture, and celebration! 🧧 The beautiful melodies and rhythmic beats brought this special tradition to life as we welcomed a year of good fortune, joy, and new beginnings together.

We also enjoyed an amazing dinner prepared by the Taste of RUI team, making the evening even more special with delicious flavors to match the celebration! 🥢✨

🎭🎷 Our Mardi Gras celebration was full of flavor, fun, and fantastic music! Residents enjoyed an amazing meal prepared by the Taste of RUI team, complete with a homemade King Cake 🍰. After dinner, we were transported to the streets of New Orleans with live jazz from Standard Time, a 3-Piece Jazz Band. It was the perfect soundtrack for a night of celebration and joy! 🎶💜💚💛

What an inspiring day last week at the Virginia Beach Art Center! 🎨✨

Our residents loved getting an inside look at the studios, meeting local artists, and seeing firsthand what they’ve been creating. We were blown away by the talent and enjoyed chatting with the artists like Constance Fahey (Founder of VB Arts Center), Susan Werby, Kay Hofler, and Susan Check.

A huge thank you to the Virginia Beach Art Center - home of The Artists Gallery for the warm hospitality and for sharing such incredible creativity with us—we can’t wait to visit again to take some classes! 💙

Executive Chef Daniel brought the heat at our Taste of RUI: Global Comfort Foods with a warm, comforting Cherries Jubilee 🍒🔥 Sweet, show-stopping, and absolutely delicious—this classic dessert had everyone coming back for more! What a treat for the senses and the soul!

This week at Bay Lake, we celebrated the heart and soul of our community — our incredible Activity Professionals! From bringing joy and purpose to every day, to creating meaningful moments that truly make Bay Lake feel like home, this team does it all.

To say thank you, we surprised them with baskets filled with their favorite items, RUI University swag, and lunch from their favorite local spot — a small token of our BIG appreciation.

Casino Night at Bay Lake was a huge win! 🎰

We want to give a big thank you to the Knights of Columbus for an unforgettable Casino Night! Our residents tried their luck at roulette, craps, horse racing, blackjack, and Texas Hold’em, and had an absolute blast from start to finish. The cards were flying, the dice were rolling, and the smiles said it all—what a fun night at Bay Lake! 🃏
