There is something special about seeing a new community start to fill with the people who will shape it every day. Orientation at Watercrest Fredericksburg gave us a first look at that: new team members stepping into the building, getting to know one another, and beginning the work of bringing this community to life.

It also meant a lot to see local partners already showing up for them. Thank you to Comfort Keepers of Frederick, Care Advantage, Inc., Magnolia Home Care, and Amedisys for helping welcome the team and for being part of this early chapter.

After so much time spent building toward opening, these first days of orientation made it all feel even more real. Watercrest Fredericksburg is getting closer, and this team is a big part of why that matters. 💙

This role is ideal for someone who is highly relational, organized, and confident stepping into community support, training, follow-up, and lead conversion.

Qualified candidates should have experience in senior living, (including 3-5 years in senior living sales), along with a proven sales and referral track record. Marketing experience is a plus, and extensive travel, including overnight and multi-day travel, is required!

Some of the most meaningful moments in community life start with a simple question.

At Sage Park San Antonio, residents recently took part in an activity for National that asked them to share the little things that bring them joy, along with a few small wishes that would make life a little better. The responses were thoughtful, personal, and wonderfully specific, everything from a Whataburger meal to decaf espresso coffee to lavender shower gel.

Those notes will be framed in a shared space as a reminder that knowing someone well often starts with paying attention to the details. The plan is to work with community partners to help make those wishes come true, one resident at a time.

It's a great example of how Sheena Jeffries's Live Exhilarated programming allows whimsical moments, like wishes on sticky notes, to make way for important acts of personal care. 💛

We recently marked a BIG milestone for Watercrest Fredericksburg! The community has completed construction, received its certificate of occupancy, and is preparing to welcome founding residents in early April. Located across from Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, the new community offers 106 assisted living apartments and 36 memory care apartments with signature amenities and services designed around comfort, connection, and care.

St. Patrick’s Day looked a little different across Watercrest, but the shenanigans showed up everywhere! ☘️

At Sage Park Austin, residents leaned into their day with wearing green (so no one gets pinched!), leprechaun hats, shamrock glasses, and leprechaun floats. Watercrest Buena Vista celebrated with live music from Krista Joy, along with special drinks and food. Watercrest Richmond gathered for a St. Patrick’s Day themed brunch, while Watercrest of St. Lucie West kept the day busy with blackjack, cookie decorating, Irish trivia, shamrock shakes, green beer, and Irish entertainment!

That is one of the things we love about community life. One holiday can turn into brunch, music, games, floats, painting, or just a room full of people happy to participate in the shenanigans.

Now that it's officially Spring, it feels like the right time to share how a few of our communities have been getting their hands in the dirt and welcoming the season in their own ways! 🌸

At Watercrest Richmond and Watercrest Buena Vista, residents marked by spending time outdoors and helping freshen up flower beds after winter. At Sage Park San Antonio, residents painted terra cotta pots, added soil and flower seeds, and made each one their own. Over at Pelican Landing Assisted Living and Memory Care, residents took advantage of the warmer weather to plant fresh herbs and flowers and give the garden beds a new start.

There is something about this time of year that makes these small projects feel especially good. These projects fit beautifully into our Live Exhilarated and Illuminate programming! ☀️

National days are a great excuse to make everyday life a little more fun across our communities! 🌟

Recently, at Watercrest Myrtle Beach, residents headed to Cicis Pizza for , while Watercrest Richmond celebrated with a trip to Sergio's Pizza and Italian Restaurant. At Pelican Landing Assisted Living and Memory Care, brought plenty of creativity into the mix, and gave another community a sweet reason to celebrate! Over at Sage Park Austin, residents marked , and Sage Park Guadalupe had fun with Day!

Pizza outings, floral arranging, a little something sweet: these are a simple way to spark connection and make room for joy in the everyday.

That is one of the things we love most about community life, there is always something to celebrate together!

A thoughtful gesture can go a long way, and our residents at Sage Park Guadalupe felt that during a recent visit from Restoration Hill Church in Ingram, Texas. 💚

The group brought beautifully wrapped Valentine’s Day baskets for every resident, turning an ordinary day into something extra special. Moments like this matter because community connections remind older adults that they are seen and valued.

We are very grateful to partners like Restoration Hill Church for showing up so generously!

Operation Support our Troops - America was an incredible success across our communities as Watercrest united to honor the sacrifices of our country's active duty military members and veterans.

At Pelican Landing Assisted Living and Memory Care, proud resident veterans stood by their donations and shared words of wisdom for current service members to be brave, stay strong, and live and learn, which even inspired their families to ask how they can send letters of their own!

Sage Park San Antonio lived up to their town's "Military City, USA" name with an overflowing donation box for local care packages, a color guard presentation by Alamo Heights High School, and resident veterans sharing their service stories over ice-cold beer. Over in Watercrest Richmond, an amazing turnout filled the collection box, showcasing the deep generosity of the community.

February was full of love across all our Watercrest communities! 🩷

Our Live Exhilarated programming truly shines when we celebrate together. We loved seeing RLD Candice at Watercrest Myrtle Beach hugging that giant heart, and the beautiful women at Watercrest Palm Beach Gardens enjoying an empowering "Galentines" event with Maya Angelou poetry and a wine tasting.

The love kept flowing with beautiful flower bouquet making at Watercrest of St. Lucie West and meanwhile, Watercrest Winter Park hosted a lovely Valentine's Day tea complete with special handmade soaps!

Curating these meaningful events is essential for fostering deep connections and keeping our residents engaged. It was so wonderful to see our Watercrest culture in full bloom as we showed our residents exactly how much they are loved! 💝🥂
