This weekend!

Join Sara from 6:30-7:30pm on Saturday, January 9th for a Sound Healing Journey on Zoom.

Rest & Digest is a sound healing experience that blends simple guided visualization practices with the gentle sounds of sacred instruments. This offering is a time and space to digest your life’s experiences. Practice gaining an awareness of what the stress response feels like in your body and learn how to stimulate the rest & digest response. When rest & digest is activated, healing and regeneration occur. The body performs activities like digesting, detoxifying, eliminating, and building immunity.

Sound healing is so much more than an auditory experience. Sounds act as a focal point for the mind to rest on, allowing us to enter into deep states of relaxation and meditation. These states of consciousness provide an opportunity to release deeply rooted tensions and emotional blocks. Silence has been found to be relaxing and therapeutic, restoring equilibrium and reducing brain wave frequency while lowering blood pressure, heart and respiratory rates.

Visit www.toivocenter.org for all zoom information.

Join me from 6-7PM on Saturday July 25th for a live Sound Healing on the Toivo page.

RISE UP is a sound healing experience that explores simple breath work, a writing practice, toning and guided meditation that is supported by the sounds of sacred instruments. This offering provides an opportunity for you to reflect on where you have been and where it is you would like to go as an individual and as a part of the collective. This is a space to feel into your own personal power to transform and to rise up into your most authentic self. We need you now more than ever! You have something beautiful to share with the world.

Sound healing is so much more than an auditory experience. The sounds act as a focal point for the mind to rest on, allowing us to enter into deep states of relaxation and meditation. These states of consciousness provide an opportunity to release deeply rooted tensions and emotional blocks. Many people emerge from the experience feeling lighter, balanced and rejuvenated.

All you need to do is find a comfortable space, grab a pen and some paper and tune into the Toivo FB page. Using headphones may provide a deeper experience.

Message me with any questions!🤗

I had the privilege of laying myself on the beach. It seemed like forever since I had my body against the earth. As I laid there I sank into a feeling space and started deeply listening. The vibration is fierce, unrelenting and if I’m honest the sheer power of it scared me a little. It felt different than all the times before. I felt the need to drop heavier as if to embrace Mother Earth and to remind myself that power does not fit into my labels of good or bad. It is often the moments of extreme contraction that hold the most potential. I spoke to her with my heart knowing that we are one in the same. I repeated the Ho'oponopono practice of reconciliation and forgiveness taught to me by loving teachers and Zacciah Blackburn.
I love you, I’m sorry, forgive me, thank you.
She rumbled in response -
Brothers and Sisters RISE UP!
Can you feel that you are CREATION itself?
Can you feel how SUPPORTED you truly are?
Can you feel that there is more than ENOUGH for everyone?
It is time to look HONESTLY!
Hold your FEARS with STRENGTH and COMPASSION.
SURRENDER completely.

CHANGE IS NOW!
I LOVE you, I LOVE you, I LOVE you.

My friends tonight and every Tuesday in June I am offering a donation based restorative yoga class on zoom. From 6:30-7PM we connect, Share and Shake out the excess energy to Steve’s rockin’ guitar before asking ourselves to settle. From 7-8:30PM we sink into our Restorative yoga flow. Come to one or both! Message me for zoom info💓

Hi! I’m Sara

I am a Registered Yoga Teacher, intuitive artist, Reiki Master, Sound facilitator and Reggio inspired educator. I have been sharing my most beloved tools for healing for over a decade in schools, studios, shelters and psychiatric hospitals across Connecticut.

A little of my story...

I spent a long time stuck in survival mode. I was living with the underlying belief that I was simply unworthy of love and support. This root belief dictated my every thought and action. It affected how I breathed, moved in my body, connected with myself and others. This constant stream of stress took its toll on my mind, body and heart. I felt disconnected, anxious and struggled with what seemed like an endless series of injuries and illness. It has been through the practice of yoga along with the exploration of nature, sound and creative art processes that I have found tools for empowerment and whole body healing. It is my life's purpose to share this healing, to allow those who have felt unworthy to be seen, heard and valued.

It is my hearts mission to create safe space for other to explore the root cause of their suffering and to practice bridging the gap between their mind, body and heart.
