When we first started cleaning out the studio, it was hard to salvage anything. There was water damage, mold, and years of neglect on almost all surfaces. The one thing I was hoping to save was the door into the old library and some of the oak bookshelves. My father in-law and husband are making a dream of mine come true, today! They made it possible to put the original door and window back in for the upstairs.

You’ll have to wait for opening day to see it finished and spiffed up!

You can shake it at the studio or you can shake it at home, you decide!

Once the studio opens, you might find a favorite shake or tea that hits the taste buds just right. And instead of hoarding recipes for my eyes only, I strongly ENCOURAGE you to ask about said recipes and have the ingredients on hand if you want to make one at home. Of course, I’d rather see your face in the shop, but the ease of at home shakes is nice some days, too 🙃

A look at what’s to come!

At the studio, you can get a sweat session in and then head upstairs for a healthy shake + tea combo!

Don’t forget: There will be a fully stocked shower + fresh towels in the studio if you need a scrub before getting back to your busy day!

Also: Right now, I have one small room unoccupied. I would love to find someone to come into this space to offer something like massage therapy, eye lashes, facials, brows, etc. My hope is for the basement to have a very warm, quiet, spa vibe, so something that is relaxing to the mind, body, and soul! If you fit this mold or know of anyone who does, please reach out!

Last year when I decided to buy the library, I was brainstorming about the remodel and who to hire for my contractor. Austin was adamant that he be the head of the job, lining everything up and keeping things moving. I was very much so against it. Austin is a busy guy the way it is, and he carries a ton on his plate already. Well, he won that little disagreement, and here we are… nearing the end of this remodel that he’s kept rolling. I’m so thankful for everything he has done for this studio of mine. We’ve been able to complete some of the remodel projects together with our kids, and that’s been really nice for us.

Austin, your hard work and willingness to help never goes unnoticed. You’re talented in so many ways ❤️

The studio is HOPPIN’!

Sheetrock is finished and the tape/texture crew is in there now! I spent my day off painting exterior trim. Wild what some black paint can do! Hoping for a beautiful weekend, so I can finish that up!
