The Connecticut Association of Therapeutic Recreation Directors wants to take a moment to thank the Therapeutic Recreation Directors throughout our state who continue to provide interaction with their residents during these exceedingly difficult times. Without you, many of our residents would feel lonely and without hope. You give them the gift of structure and a consistent reminder that there is always someone there for them. You provide our residents with a feeling of love and support that they are so much missing from their friends and family. Your presence means the world to our residents state-wide and we commend you for your continuing, tireless efforts. We truly are “all in this together” and we thank you for your dedication as professionals during these exceedingly difficult times.
