Do you know how to tame frizzy hair? 💇

Some hair is naturally curly, but frizzy hair is irregular growth or damage that typically lacks length and shine. To help in the short term, include a leave-in conditioner, especially those with low molecular weight oils like coconut oil in them because these can pe*****te the hair shaft and re-seal the hair. For the long term, avoid damage from heat and chemicals especially.

"Alopecia" means "hair loss." Any hair loss! Typically, patients think of hair loss as involving the scalp, but hair loss can occur anywhere; from a small area in the beard to an eyebrow to the entire body. And "alopecia" is incredibly common, with many different causes including "traction" (pulling) and even psychological distress. The point is that when a doctor says you have "alopecia," they are not pronouncing that you have a particular disease, they are giving a name to your hair loss!"
