Southern Belle Products started from a love of crafting and aromatherapy products. Aromatherapy helps many people around the world with stress, depression, relaxation, sinuses and colds, and much more! At Southern Belle Products, we use as many natural and organic ingredients that we can find, and make products that are meant to aid in fixin' whatever ails you. The company's owner uses several of the products herself, as do her family and friends. She says that she "wouldn't sell anything she wouldn't use herself or anything that hasn't helped her relax and unwind before." Additionally, the owner has friends and family members in the armed forces and police forces. They all love a wonderful product called paracord, which is short for parachute cord. It has many survival uses, is lightweight, durable and made of all nylon. The owner decided to start selling products made from paracord, as she was making items here and there for friends and family to begin with.

Corn "Chowder" with Chicken 🍲 made up some soup with a corn chowder mix, bone broth, baby yellow potatoes and chicken breast 😋 left out the cream since I portioned out a froze all but one serving using my awesome 👩🏼‍🍳 the recipe on the bag called for potatoes, but I chose baby ones instead of full size [might do a few more next time] 🥔 and swapped regular chicken broth for bone broth [extra protein + nutrients] then added boneless skinless chicken breast that mom + I cooked in the skillet first 🍳 [even more protein!] 🥘 served it over bone broth rice 🍚

Jasmati White Rice 🍚 meal prepped some white rice to both eat with my chicken this week but also to stock my freezer up a bit 👩🏼‍🍳 I always use chicken broth, preferably bone broth, to cook my rice as it adds nutrients and protein 😋💪🏻got that preparation method from my momma who switched to it when I was young on our pediatrician's recommendation 🩺

Double batch: add 3 cups chicken bone broth [9g protein] [10g protein] to a saucepan and bring to boil on the stove with 1 tsp sea salt [optional] 🧂 and 2 tsp unsalted butter [optional] 🧈 once broth is boiling, add 2 cups jasmati white rice 🍚 stir, cover and cook/simmer on low heat for 15 minutes [I had to add 5 tbsp more of bone broth ~3/4 of the way through] then serve or like me, portion out into a 1/2 cup silicone mold [I eat a double portion so 1/4 cup x 2 = 1/2 cup] then once cooled add the lid and set in freezer - once frozen add to a freezer-safe storage container/bag with what it is and the date made 😀

Taco Meat 🌮 mom helped me cook up some ground beef with mild taco seasoning, then once it cooled, I added it to my new silicone freezer molds to start stocking said freezer for my difficult day meal prep 🥩🧊 I always try to use my cast iron skillets because one I love them and two they add a bit extra iron to my food 🍳

Heat cast iron skillet with a bit of olive oil 🫒 add 1 lb ground beef and use a meat chopper or similar tool to chop into desired "texture" - I add some butter to help 🧈 once cooked, follow directions for the mild taco seasoning 🌶 with a little bit of the "sauce" remaining, turn stove off and let cool enough to scoop into the silicone 1/2 cup mold then cool more, cover with the lid and store in the freezer until solid - store in a freezer safe manner with a label marking what it is and the date cooked 👩🏼‍🍳

Pan Seared Chicken Breast 🍗 the protein for my dinner meal prep this week 😋💪🏻

On medium high, heat cast iron skillet with olive oil 🫒 add 1 package of thinner sliced boneless skinless chicken breast, season with garlic powder 🧄 onion powder 🧅 and roasted black garlic sea salt 🧂 add some butter 🧈 for a bit of fat, once the white cook line is halfway on the chicken, flip over, season again and continue cooking 🍳 add chicken broth to provide moisture, deglazes the pan and creates a sauce of sorts 😋
