This Thanksgiving season, we are collecting donations for The Food Center, a non-profit organization that supports those in need in Johnson County.

We will be accepting donations until November 14th. You can drop off your contributions at our headquarters.

Items requested:
* Non-perishable foods (preferably no glass jars)
* Hygiene products
* Soap
* Diaper wipes
* Canned meats
* Peanut butter
* Canned vegetables
* Crackers

A number of our providers are currently attending the EMS World Expo 2025 in Indianapolis!

This conference is a fantastic opportunity for them to engage in top-notch classes and hands-on training sessions, covering the latest advancements and best practices in emergency medical services. We anticipate they will bring back valuable knowledge and skills that will benefit our entire team and the community we serve.

There will be a fundraising event at Johnson County Fairground on November 15th for our paramedic Ashley!

The event will feature dinner, a live auction, and various family-friendly activities. We hope to see you there!

We were honored to have three of our on-duty crews participate in UCM's moment of silence in memorial of those lost during the September 11th, 2001 attacks.

We will never forget the brave firefighters who responded and all those who lost their lives that day.

JCAD is excited to announce that our December Paramedic Program is being offered in two locations! Our course will be offered at the new AMR facility in a rented classroom space on Tuesdays and at our training facility in Warrensburg on Wednesdays. Both locations will have JCAD instructors and equipment with the same commitment to student success that we have always had! Students still get to pick which day they attend but the location will be different depending on the day. We're reaching out to ask for your support for one of our own. Ashley, a paramedic at JCAD, is currently undergoing treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

To help her during this time, shirts are being sold with all proceeds going directly to Ashley. The link to purchase shirts will expire on October 23rd.
