Hearing aids not helping?? If you or a loved one has recently purchased new hearing aids but find yourself saying "I still can't hear you." Please give us a call. We all think if someone can't hear very well, they get hearing aids and all is well. Sometimes this is the case, however, sometimes it is not. If you have gone a while with a hearing loss and all the sudden raise the volume, you may need more than that to help. You may be hearing the other person but now you are not "understanding" what they said. This is automatically perceived as "I still can't hear you." It's all about processing this new sound. Our speech therapist can help with increasing the ability to process this new volume and understand what was just said to you. This is covered through Medicare, so don't be afraid to give it a shot!
