Your jaw and spine are more connected than you might realize. The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and
your cervical spine work together as an integrated system, meaning problems in one area often affect the other.

Poor neck posture - like leaning Forward at a computer - can strain jaw muscles, leading to clenching, grinding, and TMJ issues. Likewise, jaw misalignment can affect neck position, causing headaches and spine problems. Because the trigeminal nerve links the jaw and upper neck, irritation here can trigger pain in both areas.

Childrenโ€™s spines are flexible and resilient, but theyโ€™re not immune to stress. Heavy backpacks, long hours of screen time, or bumps and falls in sports can all influence posture and alignment.
