UPDATE ON KAI

We spoke a little too soon. 😕 Please continue to keep him in your prayers. He woke up about 5am with severe abdominal pain and a temperature of 104. His blood sugar also keeps spiking very high even though he hasn’t eaten almost anything in the last 24 hours.

UPDATE ON KAI

Kai is feeling much better and has been discharged from the hospital. 🙌🏼 The IV helped bring his temperature back down and no major issues to report. Thank you all for the prayers!

He wanted to take a walk through the civil war battle grounds near our house on our way home. 😅

Keep Kai in your prayers. He’s in the hospital with a temperature of 103 and moderate level of ketones (40) in his blood. He’s had a severe headache and throwing up. Glucose levels are steady around 120, but he still needed an IV for the fever (which took 3 stabs for the nurse to get right).

Kai finally got the Omnipod 5, and it’s AMAZING!

No more nighttime extreme highs or lows. Praise God for technology!
