Support your immune system! 🦠
For medicinal and preventative use it’s best to alternate between tinctures and infusions.
Tinctures pull out the plants alkaloids. Infusions pull out flavonoids, vitamins, and minerals, essentially making a ‘multi-vitamin in a jar’.
The typical dose for tinctures is 1 dropper-full (30 drops) 3x day diluted and 1 quart per day for infusions.
Also, remember OVER-washing/sanitizing your hands can actually do more harm than good for your immune system.

Seed cycling:
🥄 Eat (or add to smoothie) 1-2tbs of seeds per day. The 4 seeds correlate to the 4 phases of your cycle.
🎃 Pumpkin and flax seeds can help naturally increase your estrogen.
Flaxseeds in particular are rich in which have been shown to be beneficial in improving estrogen - progesterone ratios and heart disease in women.
🌻 Sesame and sunflower seeds support natural progesterone production (which helps with bloating, mood swings, and insomnia).
They also contain lignans that support the hormones that carry us through the luteal phase.
🧱 Seeds are rich in essential fatty acids and nutrients, like zinc and selenium (the building blocks needed to make healthy hormones).
🗓 If you’re not charting or don’t have regular cycles it’s easiest to start on day 1 (first day of full bleed, not including spotting)
If you don’t have a cycle you can also follow the moon cycle.

Ma********ng is good for your health 💃🏻
Or***ms cause the body to release dopamine, endorphins, and oxytocin (the love and bonding hormone), which naturally lowers cortisol (the stress hormone).
(Even if you don’t reach climax, the body usually releases these calming hormones)
Many women also find that ma********ng (or or**sming) also relieves menstrual cramps and eases PMS symptoms.
And back to or***ms releasing the ‘love and bonding’ hormone..what a great way to practice loving and bonding with yourself? Brings a whole new meaning to 🥰

Looking for a sugar substitute? Monk Fruit Sweetener looks & tastes like sugar but has no glucose or fructose.
is extracted from monk fruit AKA luo han guo or Buddha fruit.
The sweetener is created by removing the seeds and skin of the fruit and crushing it to collect the juice, which is then dried into a concentrated powder.
Unlike most fruits, the natural sugars in monk fruit aren’t responsible for its sweetness. Instead, its sweetness from antioxidants called mogrosides.
During processing, mogrosides are separated from the fresh-pressed juice. Therefore, monk fruit sweetener does not contain fructose or glucose.
The extract can be 100–250x sweeter than table sugar so many manufacturers mix monk fruit sweetener with other natural products such as inulin.

Can I have my morning coffee?
That’s a tricky one but in short, it’s entirely up to you. Here’s the info:
Coffee is often hyped for its benefits: it can improve insulin sensitivity, promote estrogen detoxification, and reduce your risk of breast cancer. PLUS who doesn’t love a good cup o’ joe? ☕️
On the flip side, other studies have shown that caffeine affects the length of menstrual cycles, affects hormone production, and is linked to fertility challenges.
Caffeine stimulates cortisol production , which can have a negative impact on your progesterone (progesterone is made from cortisol)
Personally I LOVE coffee but any more than a cup a day and I know about it - my p**p pattern changes, I get subtle cramps, my anxiety & irritability worsens, and I don’t sleep as well.. but it’s just so dang good 😄
You don’t have to completely eliminate things you love, just listen to what your body tells you and remember.. MODERATION 🔑

What is leaky gut?
There are small gaps in your gut walls called tight junctions, which let nutrients and water pass through.
Varies lifestyle factors (including poor diet) are thought to cause the tight junctions to loosen, allowing things (mainly proteins) to pass through into the blood and cause inflammation around the body. This is known as
Your gut plays a vital role in your overall health and well-being.

Some things that disrupt gut health are:
Poor diet, heavy NSAID (like ibuprofen) use, heavy alcohol or caffeine consumption, excessive sugar consumption, stress, yeast overgrowth.

Are va**nal discharge, cervical mucus, and arousal fluid all the same thing?
Not really.
➳ Vaginal Discharge-
Vaginal discharge is technically anything that comes out of your vag, which can include blood, s***m, l***s, and female-hygiene products, as well as cervical mucus and arousal fluid.
Unless it has a foul smell or is accompanied by itching/burning/pain va**nal discharge is totally normal, healthy, and important. It’s job is to clear out dead cells and bacteria. It helps keep your va**na clean & infection free.
➳ Cervical Mucus-
This is a clear-watery or gel-like fluid produced by your cervix. Because it’s mostly controlled by estrogen, it’s presence and appearance fluctuate throughout your cycle. It’s job, on your fertile days, is to nourish & protect s***m as it travels to your egg.
Paying attention to your cervical mucus (cm) is important. There are 3 types:
1. Post-Period CM:
Basically dry. There is generally very little CM present. It may be red, yellow, or white in color and sticky to the touch as you end your period. As ovulation approaches it becomes creamer or lotion-like.
2. During Ovulation CM:
This is the famous ‘egg whites’. The baby-making mucus. Estrogen is rising quickly at this time in the cycle, causing your cervix to produce ‘fertile quality’ mucus. It’s clear, sticky, and stretchy -it looks like egg whites.
3. Post-Ovulation CM:
After ovulation your cervical mucus will lessen in quantity and thicken.
➳ Arousal Fluid-
This is your natural l**e. When you become sexually aroused blood flow to your ge****ls increases and pushes fluid out of your va**nal walls, making you ‘wet’.
When thinking ‘arousal fluid’ you may also be wondering about sq**rting or female ej*******on. This occurs when the contractions during an or**sm cause arousal fluid to sq**rt out of the va**na.
The fluid comes from glands (called Skene’s glands) located near the urethra. Although it’s popular in p**n, not many women experience this irl.

Literally translates to "state of return."
Also called D**g Qui and Tang Kwei
“The female Ginseng”
Comes in many forms.
The whole root is small and whitish, it looks like carved ivory, definitely feminine in nature. The sliced and pressed root often resembles a v***a.
D**g Quai is an extremely effective female tonic (men do benefit from her as well though).
She is more gentle than her western relative Angelica so she’s wonderful for strengthening and balancing the uterus over an extended period of time.
She’s blood-nourishing, has a mild stimulating and cleansing action on the liver, and has mild nervine properties to calm and relax the system.
D**g Quai is specific for menstrual irregularities, dysmenorrhea, and delayed/missing menstruation. She’s especially helpful for easing women into menopause and a great toning herb for young women beginning their cycles.
As D**g Quai may stimulate bleeding, it is suggested you discontinue use 1 week prior to menstruation and begin again when bleeding stops.
Specific Indications for D**g Quai:
* Gynecological complaints w/ spasms and pain, chills, and dryness of the skin
* Constipation due to dryness and uterine or ovarian masses
* Congestion in the pelvic region
* Pms, cramps, and menopausal-related symptoms
* Uterine bleeding due to stagnation
* Chronic pelvic infections
* Headache due to blood deficiency
Experiments have shown D**g Quai stimulates uterine cell multiplication
