Hey Therafriend,
All to often we neglect ourselves by taking on additional tasks when our plate is full, not asking for help when needed or not scheduling downtime. We carry around the belief that self-care is selfish. In reality, when we do not take adequate care of our physical, mental or emotional health, we start to feel depleted, drained or even frazzled. The goal is create a balance between selfishness and sacrifice. We need to start looking at self-care as an investment that we can not live without. โฃ
