Always grateful to promote mental health awareness especially during times of crisis and uncertainty. Many times uncertainty triggers past traumas so we must be aware to not respond in haste. No sudden movement or emotional decisions, engage in community, seek wise counsel, pay attention to your body, and focus on the parts of your day and routine that are yours! You are human.. your emotions are valid and real and likely appropriate to the level of offense you are experiencing.

And more importantly, it is imperative that you feel safe in the therapy space. Part of healing involves trusting yourself and having a provider that reinforces that is imperative!
