We were pleased to host Councilmember Henderson and her team at Unity's Anacostia Health Center. She was able to tour our new prescription pharmacy and our new food pharmacy, as well as visit our primary care and dental care suites. The visit highlighted how we’re expanding whole-person care in our community.

We are grateful for Councilmember Henderson's continued partnership and engagement on health care issues that are important to both Unity and our patients here in the District.

In honor of Black History Month, Unity Health Care CEO, Rashad A. Collins joined fellow champions of community wellness for the Wellness in the Ward discussion in Wards 7 & 8. He spoke on the importance of preventative care and strong community connections:
