The lower you sit back in the chair position, the deeper the hip stetch.โ €

โœ… Begin in Mountain Pose with your feet about hip width apart.โ €

โœ… Bend your knees (as if you were to sit back in a chair) while maintaining a straight long back.โ €

โœ… Root down through your right foot. Lift your left leg and wrap it over and around the right calf as far as it comfortably goes.โ €
โ €
โœ… Bring your left arm under your right arm and wrap your arms until your palms touch. You could also just give yourself a hug.โ €

โœ… Bring your elbows and knees directly in line and breathe into the backs of your shoulder blades.โ €

โœ… Concentrate on a point or non moving object in front of you and continue to breath deeplyโ €
