Doug and K9 Sophie were proud to attend the Rowan College of South Jersey Gloucester Campus Military Services Resource Event.

When people hear “Crisis Response,” they often think of deployments and the moments that make headlines. But much of our work happens long before and long after those events in the quieter spaces where trust is built, conversations begin, and resilience grows.

Events like this are a reminder that support doesn’t only show up in times of tragedy. It’s present in everyday interactions, in prevention, in connection, and in simply being there.

We’re grateful for opportunities to stand alongside our community not just in the hardest moments, but in the steady, meaningful ones that help strengthen it.

This year, thanks to our partnership with New Jersey Association of Student Councils (NJASC), we’ve had the incredible opportunity to strengthen our connections with schools across New Jersey. We’ve truly enjoyed meeting so many amazing students and dedicated staff members along the way.

Every visit has reinforced how important it is to support the well-being of school communities, and we’re grateful to be part of that effort. We look forward to continuing to grow these relationships, expanding our reach, and working together to make a lasting impact in schools throughout the state.

This visit featured Tara and K9 Gunner at Career Club Sayreville Middle School—thank you for having us!

We were honored to be part of such a meaningful evening with MS Moments 💙

Our team, alongside All Breed Dog Obedience Training, had the opportunity to share how service dogs and therapy animals can make a real difference in people’s lives. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do—bringing comfort, connection, and a little extra joy wherever it’s needed.

Trip, Poppy, Cooper, and Jammer soaked up all the love, and we’re so grateful to their dedicated handlers who gave their time to make this experience so special.

Thank you to MS Moments and everyone who joined us. We loved spending the evening with you 🐾

In moments of crisis, connection matters, especially in law enforcement settings where trust can directly impact outcomes.

Crisis response K9 teams are increasingly being deployed alongside officers to help de-escalate situations, support victims, and reduce stress for both the public and first responders.

But as these programs expand, training standards haven’t kept pace.

Our upcoming seminar is designed to close that gap, providing law enforcement agencies, handlers, and command staff with the structure, best practices, and real-world training needed for effective deployment.

Be part of raising the standard for K9 crisis response in policing.

It’s always an honor to be invited to visit the National September 11 Memorial & Museum during their special event for Military Families, alongside K9 Dempsey, K9 Sophie, and K9 Gunner.

While we were there, we were also grateful for the opportunity to spend time with our friends from Tuesday's Children.

At Crisis Response Canines (CRC), our mission goes far beyond real-time emergencies—we are committed to supporting communities through every phase of disaster and crisis response, including preparedness and training.

Recently, our teams had the opportunity to participate in a Student-Parent Reunification Exercise, a critical safety drill designed to simulate the process of reconnecting students with their families during an emergency. These exercises are essential for schools, first responders, and families to practice coordinated, efficient, and compassionate responses under stressful conditions.

Our certified crisis response teams were on-site to provide emotional support and comfort to participants, helping reduce anxiety and create a calmer environment during what can be an overwhelming scenario. By being present during these drills, we help strengthen community resilience and ensure that both responders and families are better prepared if a real crisis occurs.

We are proud to stand alongside our partners in all phases of disaster response—preparedness, response, and recovery—bringing comfort, connection, and compassion when it’s needed most.

CRC had the honor of welcoming 46 incredible female veterans and their guardians as they arrived at BWI from flights across the country, beginning their journey to Washington, DC.

Among them were women who served in Vietnam, Korea, and beyond—each carrying a legacy of courage, sacrifice, and resilience. It was a powerful reminder that service spans generations, and their stories continue to shape our nation.

Handler Debby and K9 Ducky were there to greet them, offering comfort, connection, and a warm CRC welcome after their travels. Moments like these highlight not only the impact of our K9 teams, but the depth and heart of the CRC organization—showing up wherever we’re needed to support those who have given so much.

We are deeply grateful to stand alongside these heroes. 💙🐾
