Expand!! Use your breath and fly! You were meant to take up space. Living small may not be serving you. You do not need to shrink yourself to fit anyone elses box or the box you have created for yourself. Your thoughts and ideas matter! Your belongings matter! You Matter! Happy Tuesday ☀️ treat yourself like you matter!

Healing ....

Have patience w/ your progress.

Establish a nourishing protocol. You may not follow it exactly each day but have one and stick with it for the long haul.

Anticipate set backs. They happen. They have the power to bring you down but try to move through them like a surfer in a crashing wave. They will pass progressively quicker as your cells get stronger.

Let go of fixed ideologies that you may have learned along the way. Could I ever have thought that histamines from bone broth and spinach were ailing me? Let go and let your higher power drive you. Let go to welcome in new ideas. You will be surprised to see how your own thoughts and limitations, even if they aren't negative could hold you back from what you truly need to heal.

Create. Move. Laugh. Sing. Syncronize outside your mind. Lean heavy in to those moments that feel like bliss. Let that flow of energy feed you. Feel what it feels like to be in the now. Let go. Receive primary foods. Heal.

This New Years as one door closes l am especially thankful to God for closed doors that sheilded me. I am thankful that sometimes those closed doors redirected me to something better. I am thankful that they perhaps prevented me from stepping in places that were not meant for me. Thankful for the detours they made that led me look deeper in thy self for greater self reflections. Thankful forn the pauses tbat took me out of focus only to havw to work hard and exercise my refocus. Thankful for the pain both physical and mental they caused that made me not want to cross that bridge of fire again but instead gave me strength to move forward. Without that pain I may have tried to turn back. Thankful
for the all the lessons learned and the toxicities shed. Thankful for the change of courses that did not allow me to settle for second best or to accept less.. I am especially thankful for the pauses that gave me more time with the people that matter most to me.

This New Year I walk straight through this vail thankful for closed doors which no longer serve me.

How often do you mindlessly eat? Taking for granted "what goes in, must come out"?

The ability to eat and eliminate waste is at the top of the list for what aids our survival.

Like a marble going through an obstacle course the course of digestion is adventurous with each step relying heavily on the one before.

The processes of digestion include six activities:

Ingestion-starts the journey with taking in a bite of food in through the mouth. Then using the teeth to chew and breakdown the food

Mechanical or physical digestion-The role of chemical digestion is to further degrade the structure of the ingested compounds by digestive enzymes in the saliva into a form that is easily absorbed into the bloodstream.

Propulsion- series of contractions and relaxations that forces food to move forward and down.

Chemical digestion- as the food particles move further down the course, in to the stomach and eventually the intestines Chemical digestion involves the secretions of enzymes throughout your digestive tract. These enzymes break the chemical bonds that hold food particles together. This allows food to be broken down into small, digestible parts.

Absorption- through out the journey the absorption occurs but primarily in the small intestine where the break down of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and iron are then absorbed into your bloodstream and carried to cells through your body.

Defecation- the final act of digestion, which we have eliminate thankfully unabsorbed, undigestable waste material from the digestive tract.

There are several things you can do to help this process...

Create a stress free environment to eat in with dim lights, good company, and prayer.

You can space out meals to consider the specifics of food transit times or the rate of digestion by food group and eat accordingly.

You can stay hydrated to decrease artificial cravings.

Most importantly and especially today, find gratitude in this process and CHEW CHEW CHEW.

Most days those who are living with chronic illnesses look down on their immune system for "failing them".

Just for today try to remember the immune system is what keeps you alive every day. It is our personal frontline, multileveled and very complex army facing the roughest of battles and constantly at war.

Especially this day in age with the list of invading enemies endless and relentless. Here are some just to name a few: Food, toxins such as, chemicals, heavy metals, mycotoxins. Plus environment allergens, dander, stress, negative thoughts, climate, allergens, hormones, emfs and additionally the day to day contact with germs and viruses. The list of possible dormant, reoccurring or random threats to the immune system can go on and on.

But still against all these odds and in some case with little support it keeps you alive.

Just for today find gratitude for your immune system and remember that:
1 minute of anger, weekends the immune system for about 4 to 5 hours and 1 minute of laughter strengthens the immune system for about 24 hours. You choose.

One of the hardest lessons in life is letting go and finding peace with what is. Just for today whether it is guilt, anger, or shame boost your immune system by transforming these emotions into gratitude for the good that it is doing, the lessons learned and the potentials ahead.
