So, one of my favorite people and I have an inside joke where we yell out, "Support!" at the most random yet well placed times 😆. Yeah, that's pretty much what this is.

There are two sides to personal chef support:

- a customized option for busy individuals/families who love eating great food but find the actual planning & cooking to be more work on their plate

- a personalized option for moms who may need or want meal/snacks specifically tailored to where they are in pregnancy or postpartum

Doula support encompasses those TTC, currently expecting little feet, in postpartum (to be clear, in my mind... it goes WELL past 12 weeks and more into a year+), and those navigating bereavement/loss 💜.

The weather is brightening up, my calendar is opening up, and I'm here for it 🙌🏾 🎉💃🏾.

Scenes from a cook day or two:

The first two meals were for one of my clients that I supported during a home birth last Sept: a family of 4, who's around 6 months postpartum 💪🏾.

The rest were for a new mom who just gave birth a few days ago 🎉🎉 & needed some 'I just want to thaw 'em out and warm 'em up as I go' tasty/healthy meals. I think I'm most excited to hear her thoughts after she bakes the requested white lasagna with chicken & spinach 🤗.

HEY, Y'ALL!!! 🙋🏾‍♀️ Happy Friday! How y'all been?!

Wow, it's been at least a couple of years. A couple of years filled with working in health care as a home visitor for families in DC (which I love), a couple of years that have started the trend of uncomfortable and necessary growth, and just life.

Full transparency: I assumed at some point that I had hit a full stop on cheffing & doula work because of how life was going. I saw myself transitioning to do other work, so The Cheffy Doula ideas were left alone. Clearly, God has other and better plans because I was 1000% focused on other things until supporting a family that I love during their home birth last September and stepping back into the role of cheffing for them. I then realized all of this was accompanied by a comma and not a period.

Now, The Cheffy Doula is here 🤗. Here's to not mistaking a comma for a period, and here's to supporting new families with a mix of heart, humility, facts, & food. The support continues!

Changes, changes, changes 🙌🏾🥳😊. Foodtellect PCS & Little Feet & Violets Doula Service are combining into something new. I'm excited to see where this goes from here as I continue to support families while offering a new prenatal and postpartum specific personal chef option. Stay tuned!

Another day, another dish.. or two, or three, or four.. or more! 😄

Imagine coming home and not having to think about what you're going to eat for dinner because it's already been made 😳.. and it's customized to your palate 👀 .. and it's super healthy or healthy-ish! Doesn't that sound like a dream?! Yeah, idk what that's like either, I'm the resident cooker at my house 🤣.

Love this life! 🥰

One of my favorite dishes to make EVER for clients and for me (because it takes under 45 mins and a mom be tired! 😆) 🙌🏾: Fresh corn, smoked chorizo, Serrano chiles, and a touch of lime. All under pan seared scallops 😍.
