Acts of kindness don’t have to be acts of grandeur shouted from the rooftops. They just have to be from the heart.

Remember when things get overwhelming and people all around seem to be in a rush and short tempered…it’s the little things that sometimes mean the most, as simple as a smile, offering to hold a door or grab something off a shelf. It might just turn someone’s day around.

Yesterday I came home from shopping to find my son and husband had gone out and found a little tree in the woods they cut and placed at the end of our road. They found some solar lights we had in the garage and proceeded to decorate the tree because my son wanted to spread some holiday cheer with our neighbors. Almost everyone in the neighborhood stopped all smiles to tell them they loved it….and spreading joy and putting a smile on people’s faces is exactly why they did it.
