Today marks another year since September 11, 2001. A day that forever changed so many lives. We remember the mothers, fathers, friends, and colleagues who never made it home. Each name represents a life, a story, a family forever altered.

It’s a day of reflection and deep sorrow, but also a time to recognize the incredible acts of bravery and kindness that emerged from the darkest of moments. From the first responders who ran toward danger to the everyday heroes who offered a helping hand, their courage continues to inspire us.

Let us honor the memories of those we lost, hold their families in our hearts, and extend compassion to those who still carry the weight of that day. In remembering, we ensure that their light never fades.

We will never forget.

Dear Sunflowers,

Please take a moment to read this important update regarding my upcoming book, The Happy Medium, which was scheduled for release next week.

After much careful consideration, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the release. I know this may come as a surprise, and I deeply apologize for any disappointment this may cause. I share in that disappointment, as this project has been close to my heart.

My life has undergone significant changes recently, and I’m still learning how to adjust. Some of these changes have led me to pull away from my craft, and the inspiration I once felt at the start of this journey has become distant. This created a creative barrier for me, and I believe it’s reflected in the book.

After receiving my author copy and taking the time to review it, I realized that it doesn’t fully reflect what I envisioned. I wasn’t in the headspace I wanted to be, and despite numerous tweaks, the book still doesn’t feel like the work I truly wanted to offer you. As an author, it’s crucial to me that anything I publish is something I’m genuinely proud of and confident in sharing with you.

I understand this news may be disappointing, especially for those who were eagerly anticipating the release. For those who preordered the book, you will receive a full refund to your original payment platform today, and I will be in touch shortly with confirmation.

This decision wasn’t made lightly, but I believe it’s the right one to ensure that when I do share something with you, it’s of the highest quality and true to my vision. I deeply appreciate your understanding and continued support during this time.
