These measures were implemented to protect vulnerable patients and support a safe healing environment. With steadily declining illness numbers, we are grateful to safely ease those precautions.

At the ribbon cutting for Vincennes University’s new Center for Health Sciences and Learning Innovation, DCH CEO Justin D. Harris shared why workforce partnerships matter now more than ever.

As a rural hospital, we need more nurses, technicians, medical assistants, EMTs, and healthcare professionals across every discipline. By investing time, leadership, and financial resources into VU, we’re helping ensure students can build meaningful, well-paying careers right here in southwest Indiana.

When students stay local, communities stay strong. At DCH, we’re proud to partner with VU to grow the next generation of caregivers and keep high-quality care close to home.

Watch Justin’s comments from the ribbon cutting and learn why this partnership matters.
