Today at Mountain Ridge the residents enjoyed a Mardi Grai celebration that started with a dance session with Candi Boyd followed by a Mardi Grai Mixer, we now get the phrase “Fat Tuesday”😋🪇🥁💃

February is also Bird Feeder Month, so keeping to the theme we had Maintenance Director Andy, along with family Nicole and Madisen wow us all with their presentation on a variety of their furry feathered friends.🦅🦆🦜🕊️

A Flutter of Friendship Featuring Deborah & Helen
This friendship began in June of 2024 on a sunny, warm summer day. In the lobby, alongside our Resident President, ambassador Deborah, and the welcome committee, we waited with anticipation for the arrival of a new resident.
When the announcement was made, a surge of energy filled the room. We stood, ready to greet her, and before we knew it, Helen walked through the door. Introductions began immediately, each one filled with warmth and excitement.
When Deborah stepped forward, she leaned in for a hug. Helen smiled and asked how she was doing.
Deborah replied, “Old and mean, but love to bite.”
For a brief moment, there was complete silence. Then Helen laughed and said, “My type of gal.”
The laughter that followed echoed through the building.
From that moment on, they were inseparable. Shows, karaoke, bowling, you name it. You never see one without the other. A beautiful friendship, formed instantly.
