It’s been awhile since I’ve dived back into my fav inspirational world (cheerleading all you beautiful souls). Totally miss it!
The last few months have been totally a blur from meeting my little girl to dealing with a whirlwind of a busy life.
The past 2 weeks has been the hardest of being a mom (nothing dramatic, just very emotional) My little energetic man was lethargic leading to pneumonia. With the blessing of taking care of him at home came the challenge of having a newborn that needed to be isolated from this contagious virus. We split the house in 2 between the kids. There were times where my son wanted cuddles from me and yet, I had to maintain a distance doing 100% newborn care. He understood, but it broke me to see him want time with his mama and baby sister. Thankfully daddy time made up for it all.
As we rode that wave and got ready to reunite as a family, my daughter started coughing up phlegm and we ended up in the emergency. After some doctors visits we found out she had bronchitis. Amongst all efforts she caught the viral from her brother. And was now advised to keep a distance from my son to avoid passing it back to him upon his recovery.
It was exhausting, fearful and emotional.
We missed being a family.
But now, after some time we made it back to each other. Especially these 2 made it back to one another.
What I realised and wanted to share is that, there will be moments of hopelessness (big or small) but believe in the waves of life. When you feel like you’ve been hit hard by one wave or almost sinking, another wave will lift you up. Nothing always stays the same, so trust in the moment and ride the wave 🌊
