Proud to know and love many in recovery from drugs and alcohol. Today we remember and grieve those who lost their battles with addiction 🖤

We have lost so many beautiful souls to overdose, their dreams and lives cut short by this epidemic. As we grieve on this Black Balloon Day, we honor and uplift those no longer with us and the many loved ones left behind. They should be here.

Beginning Monday, January 15, we will open the Warming Center in the permanent location at 1022 W 5th St in Waterloo.

Hours are 8 p.m. til 7 a.m. daily thru March 31, 2024.

Hospitality House continues daytime shelter from 9 a.m. til. 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

Position: Mental Health Coordinator
Full-time or part-time position; minimum of 30 hours / week required

Responsibilities:
Assisting healthcare providers with patient care
Administering medications and injections
Administrative support for scheduling and ensuring efficient use of clinic resources
Utilizing electronic health records (EHR)

Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred
Previous experience in a medical setting preferred
