This gift helps us provide nutritious meals to older adults across Northeast Iowa, support that’s especially needed during these uncertain economic times, when many older adults need it most.

You should receive Medicare Summary Notices (MSNs) if you have Original Medicare. You should receive Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) if you have a Medicare Advantage Plan or Part D plan.

MSNs and EOBs provide a summary of the services and items you have received and how much you may be billed for them. Remember that MSNs and EOBs are not bills. If you need help reviewing your Medicare statements, you can contact your local SHIP or SMP. shiphelp.org

💜 Dubuque Caregiver Retreat & Wellness Day – A Heartfelt Thank You! 💜

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us for our Caregiver Retreat in Dubuque on October 16th! It was a wonderful day of relaxation, connection, and rejuvenation for those who give so much of themselves to care for others.

A special thank you to our amazing partners, Shalom Spirituality Center and Stonehill Communities, for helping host this meaningful event—providing the venue, volunteers, and thoughtful planning support.

We were honored to welcome Dr. James Coyle as our keynote speaker, who shared valuable insight on compassion fatigue and self-care strategies.

We also extend our appreciation to all the community vendors who joined us during the lunch hour to share helpful caregiver resources, and to our breakout session facilitators for offering experiences in sound healing, guided meditation, massage, caregiver support conversations, and music.

Most importantly, we celebrate and thank all of the family caregivers who attended—and those who provide care every day. Your compassion, strength, and love make an incredible difference. 💜
