Cedar Valley! We have a free food pantry here at the pharmacy, located in the lobby — available to anyone who could use a little extra help right now. Please stop by and take what you need, no questions asked.

If you’re able to give, donations are always welcome and will go right back to helping our neighbors and community.

If anyone is in need of additional help during this time, we have a community health worker, Grace, here Monday through Friday to provide resources for housing, transportation, and childcare. Please don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can make sure everyone has what they need.

Today is national pharmacy technician day. We’d like to thank all of our technicians that work tirelessly to ensure our patients are getting taken care of. Technicians make the pharmacy world go round, and we feel like we’ve got the best around!!

Medicare Part D open enrollment has started. As a reminder, if you would like we are able to help you get signed up for the best plan for you. It’s important to look every year.
As a reminder, there’s no prize for being the first to sign up. We always recommend people wait a couple weeks to let all the plan information get straightened out as often networks can be incorrect in the first couple weeks.
If you are doing it on your own or using an insurance agent please be sure to use Greenwood Drug (not Greenwood Compounding) or if you are in our medbox pharmacy, Greenwood Compliance.
If you have any questions, or if the person helping you says there’s no way to stay with our pharmacy due to your medications please ask one of our staff members. We can often adjust medication regimens to similar medicine to help keep costs down.

The FDA has approved updated COVID vaccines. However, the CDC/ACIP has not yet approved any updated COVID vaccine schedule. That meeting is scheduled for the middle of September.
As vaccines have to be approved by both governing bodies, we will not be able to provide any COVID vaccines until after the CDC/ACIP also approves the recommendations. We apologize for this inconvenience and will provide updates as we receive them.

We are offering flu shots. Appointments are recommended but not required!

It’s a bittersweet day at the pharmacy today. Today marks the end of two incredible careers in pharmacy. Two people that have dedicated their professional lives to the people of the Cedar Valley. Lynnette and Janet.

Lynnette has been a dedicated pharmacist for 45 years, with 35 years coming at Kimball Drug and Greenwood Drug! No matter the day, Lynnette always had a smile on her face. She could always be depended on to make sure things got done. We will certainly miss her behind the counter but we wish her the best enjoying more time with her kids and grandkids! Thank you Lynnette for all the care you have provided our community!

Janet has been working as a technician at both Falls Road Drug and Greenwood Drug for 48+ years! Janet is exceptional at making sure patients get taken care of. She’s taken on many different roles over the years and ran with each one. Thank you, Janet, for your years of dedication and making sure patients are taken care of like family.

These two magnificent women will be always be a part of the Greenwood Family. They both are incredible examples of a great employee, coworker, pharmacist, technician, and friend.
Thank you both for the years of dedication and service. We wish you both incredible enjoyment in retirement!
