November is National Diabetes Awareness Month.

Lac Vieux Desert Health Center encourages families to learn about diabetes prevention and support healthy habits for our Native youth. Together, we can help the next generation build strong minds and bodies through nutritious foods, daily physical activity, and regular health screenings.

As our ancestors looked out for us, we must look out for our children and grandchildren. Let’s work together for a diabetes-free future.
