It is with a heavy heart that I share this message with you all today. After almost 12 years of getting lively, we are sadly going to be closing our doors at the end of December.

As many of you know, starting Get Lively was a dream for me and it’s been the gift of a lifetime to be part of your lives for over a decade… you’ve had babies, bought homes, had grandchildren, changed jobs, held 4 minute planks(!!!), gotten married, retired, and had so many other significant life moments play out at our studio. Heck, we even had a few celebrity appearances by Ted Lasso, Jane Fonda, and Taylor Swift.

As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, I’m going to focus on how lucky I’ve been to have this business for almost a quarter of my life. I’m so thankful to each and every one of you - our members, our trainers, and all my friends and family who helped make it happen. Especially, you Franny… none of this existed without you.

Our last day will be on Tuesday, December 23rd, and it is my hope that we will take the next several weeks to do what we do best - move, laugh, enjoy being part of this amazing community - and of course, smile more.

Whether you’ve been showing up for years or just took your first class, you are what makes Get Lively such a special community. The way you encourage each other, celebrate every small win, and keep showing up — it’s the heart of this studio.

We’re so excited to welcome back to the studio! 💛 After some time on maternity leave with baby Maddie, she’ll be easing back into teaching.
Catch her in class on Monday, November 17th, a couple of times in December, and then full swing in January.

We can’t wait to have her energy, encouragement, and smiles back with us ✨ our classes just wouldn’t be the same without her! 💪

Over the years during our Planksgiving challenges, we’ve had just as much fun sharing recipes as we have holding planks. Since food is such a big part of what brings us together, I thought I’d share one of my own Thanksgiving favorites — a roasted veggie dish that never disappoints.

Roasted Brussels & Sweet Potatoes with Maple-Dijon Drizzle ⬇️

- Toss chopped Brussels sprouts and cubed sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

- Roast at 425° until golden and crisp, about 25 minutes.

- Then whisk together 1 tablespoon Dijon, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, with a splash of apple cider vinegar and drizzle over the veggies while warm.

Perfect balance of sweet and savory. 🧡
