It was everyone’s favorite time of the month, Walter the Therapy Dog and his handler, Jill, stopped by to visit our residents again. 🐾

Walter toured all three units and brought plenty of smiles, comfort, and tail-wagging joy along the way. Most of our residents made sure to get in some quality Walter time, and it’s safe to say he was a hit as always.

It was so great seeing Jason enjoying time at the wheelchair accessible basketball hoop and making baskets. 🏀

Our Connections program is designed to support positive routines, encourage independence, and create a rewarding, supportive environment for residents who benefit from that additional level of care. It was such a fun moment to capture and a great reflection of what this program is all about.

We had such a sweet time at our Easter egg hunt. 🐣💛

It was so nice seeing families, little ones, and our community come together to enjoy the day. From egg hunting fun to smiles all around, it was a wonderful way to celebrate the season and spend time together.

One of our outside resource team members spent time with a resident, offering individualized support and connection. It’s a simple moment, but such an important reminder of how making time for each resident’s needs can make a real difference.

The team at Waterville brought the laughs during a playful “Fun at Work” day! Staff took on silly challenges like posing as ballerinas and superheroes, busting a move, making their funniest faces, and even staging a friendly snowball fight.

Our residents received a heartfelt surprise from the young artists at Educare Academy in Cheyenne, beautifully colored pictures made just for them. 🎨

These small acts of kindness truly brighten our residents’ days and remind us how meaningful community connections can be. We’re so grateful for partners who take the time to share joy with our residents in thoughtful ways like this.

Our very own Noah, Director of Community engagement at Heritage Village of Waterville, represented and was honored to attend and provide helpful resources for those who need support.
