Hi all of you beautiful ladies...it's Anita here to share some very sad news...it is with a very heavy heart I must tell you Kim has passed away...she went peacefully at home with her beloved Eric...she lost her fight with that mighty beast Cancer...I know a lot of you have followed her story, but I wasn't sure if you had heard the news around digi land...She has been my BFF for eleven years now...she had a wicked sense of humor and a love for life...we chatted all the time about the kits she was working on, and I liked to give her some inspiration from time to time...she also loved her gardens... you could always find her there all summer long, enjoying her flowers and veggies...I am trying to stay positive and just remember all the fun we had...it's hard for me to believe she wont be popping into the forums anymore...with that I will leave you with the sad news...stay strong everyone, and enjoy every day until the very last minute

so this will be different. writing on my business FB page. I've only used it for freebies and giveaways before this. now - it becomes a place to keep you up to date with me.

Found out on Saturday that there is one more treatment available to me in Lacrosse. Seems i have a 'mutant gene' in my DNA that a pill will work on to slow progression of tumors in my liver. Gross as that sounds....its great news. Gives me more time....gives me hope. plus, ,i love my oncology team there and got a personal note from the head doctor on my team. Signed with her FIRST NAME ONLY. Thats rather special isn't it? We got our new lawn mower and I got a card with $20 bucks in it from Eric's mom. I can treat us to ice cream!!! One of our favorite restaurants is in Lacrosse......and a Kentucky Fried is close by. I do so love Kentucky Fried.....and can't wait to have some! Got all my work done today, and I have a new owner lined up for TDC. You won't be disappointed as we are keeping it inhouse :) Gotta love that. Right now - its soup making time! gotta peel me up some taters :) Later! Be happy for me today! Those prayers must be working.

just in case you missed the announcement...I am retiring from active design at the end of July. Health issues caught me (cancer) and I am struggling just to stay awake most days, lol!
