Our Story
I was influenced to move to St. George by my wife of 21 years who is an alumni of Dixie State College. Very active in basketball and wakeboarding, I suffered a low back disc injury at the age of 14 leading me to seek the aid of a local chiropractor. Within a few visits the back pain resolved and this experience led me to become a chiropractor. I pursued my Doctorate degree in Chiropractic at Life University in Atlanta GA.
In addition to obtaining my Doctor of Chiropractic degree, I am also a Fellow of the International Association of Medical Acupuncture. I am one of the few chiropractors in St. George to be certified in Biopuncture. The additional training involved with this degree has given me experience in a wide range of therapies for treating sports injuries and in injury prevention. Because of my background, I emphasizes evidence-based practices to help not only athletes, but anyone suffering from pain and dysfunction. I also uses the latest techniques to achieve the best results. I utilize Graston Technique, Active Release Techniques, needling and biopuncture for soft tissue treatment and have done additional coursework in diagnosis and treatment of lumbar and cervical disc injuries. Additionally, I use Kinesio-taping techniques to help athletes of all skill levels perform better and recover faster. Using these tools and the many adjusting techniques that I am trained in I can help anyone achieve maximum performance on the field, in their home, or at their work place.
