People always ask what the muscle testing process looks like. Let’s take a look at some cases. Clients come in with their concerns. We have them complete an intake questionnaire and bring all current supplements. We test microbes, foods, metals and hormones to identify the sensitivities. Then we test all supplements and herbs including the ones they brought. We give them a protocol that is tailored to exactly what their body needs for 3-4 weeks including supplements to take and foods to avoid. Most people book a follow-up appointment or two. And then we don’t see them again until they need us.

Hear me out! Read all the slides. I’m not anti-western medicine. I just think it’s overused and abused. We can reduce the sky-rocketing rates of chronic illness by changing the narrative, changing our habits, educating ourselves, and making fully informed decisions.

I muscle test blind, which means I don’t know what microbes or supplements I’m testing. This means I can’t influence the results. I’m always so pleasantly surprised when the results line up to the symptoms a person is having. Today, I tested a client and the herbs they tested for were targeted at deeper sleep, which was their primary complaint. The human body is so cool. It tells you what it needs. Muscle testing allows for precision in protocols and quicker results.

It’s easy (and human nature) to respond out of fear, urgency, and jump into treatment. However, what if instead we took a moment to get all the information. How did we get here? What nutritional deficiencies do we have? What toxicities do we have? What are the long term implications of treatment? Are there alternatives? How do we fix the root? I recently read a testimonial of someone who doctors said had auto immune liver disease. Their solution was steroids to suppress the immune system. This person took a step back to process and instead treated with nutrition and emotional work. It took a little longer to bring her levels back (which can be a challenge in patience), but she didn’t need to suppress the immune system. She needed to address the root for long term health. This is applicable in so many diagnosis, even the big ones.

We don’t want to bandaid problems. We want to address and prevent deficiencies. Sometimes this comes in the form of nutrition. Sometimes this comes in the form of eliminating underlying viral, bacterial or fungal infections. Sometimes this comes in the form of reducing overgrowth of parasites. Sometimes this comes in the form of restoring the gut lining. Next time you are presented with a problem, ask why.

We utilize muscle testing in practice because we find it to be the most effective at restoring a healthy microbiome. We utilize neurofeedback in applied kinesiology to test for toxins, chemicals, heavy metals, food sensitivities and hormones. Then we test the herbs and nutrients the body needs to address these areas of inflammation. We find people are less sensitive to supplements this way and get faster results. A protocol should make you feel better not worse!

Stress utilizes a lot of minerals and vitamins. If you are eating poorly, your body is going to use up nutrients faster. If you are over exerting yourself in exercise, your body is going to use up nutrients faster. If you are exposed to alot of EMF, your body is going to use up nutrients faster. This is why we tend to need extra supplementation in minerals, vitamins, phytonutrients, organs, and herbs. We can’t possibly replenish enough through food alone when the deck is stacked.

Running bloodwork to check A1C, fasting glucose, fasting insulin and metabolic panel can tell you a lot, but tracking your blood sugar with a continuous glucose monitor or finger pricking device is the bigger tell and a simple solution to helping you understand your body. See how your body responds to fruit, rice, meat, juice, honey, fasting, etc. This is one of the best tools to driving change in weight loss resistance and metabolic health.

We think herbs are superior to other supplements because they boost the immune function while addressing the toxic load. They are broad spectrum, typically supporting liver function and adrenals while reducing fungus, parasites, and viral and bacterial loads. We only believe in building the body up!

Remove the root, and the w**d can’t grow. Feed the soil correctly and the w**ds can’t grow. Creating a healthy microbiome has better outcomes for auto immune, cancer cells, Alzheimer’s, hoshimotos, infertility and more. When we muscle test, we are identifying toxin exposure in the body that causes inflammation, depleted the immune system and fuels disease. We then identify the food and herbs to address these exposures.

Your protocol should include a discussion on nutrition. In muscle testing, we test for food sensitivities. These are foods that we recommend you avoid for 3-4 weeks to bring down the inflammatory load and allow the supplements to work more efficiently. After your protocol, we recommend you reintroduce foods slowly and see how you feel.

You can’t chase toxins forever. You can’t escape them. Your goal should be to build a healthy microbiome that is more resistant to toxin exposure. When we muscle test or build a protocol, we are reducing inflammation and giving the body an opportunity to heal. Maintenance protocols should include nutrition, raw materials, environmental awareness and the daily practices that support health.
