Cindi’s nomination read:

Cindi consistently goes above and beyond for both her team and the patients we serve. Her flexibility and commitment were evident throughout a challenging week in the Emergency Department. When an unexpected call-in left us without night-shift nursing coverage, Cindi was the first to respond. Without hesitation, she rearranged her schedule to ensure the department — and our patients —were fully supported.

She came off an evening shift and, with only a few hours' notice, transitioned to an overnight shift that very night. Just two days later, in the middle of the night, Cindi again answered the call to come in and care for a patient who had been sexually assaulted. She always responds, ensuring that those who need the care receive it. In addition, Cindi has recently cross-trained to the Med-Surg unit to help fill the House Supervisor role when needed, further demonstrating her commitment to supporting the organization wherever she is needed.

Cindi, we appreciate your dedication to a great patient experience, compassion and customer service. We are so proud of you and you are very deserving of this award!
