Birth is not one-size-fits-all.
Some physiological births unfold quickly, like this sweet mama who welcomed her baby about 90 minutes after arriving. Others may take 24+ hours, with waves of progress, rest, movement, and patience along the way.
Neither timeline is “better” or “more normal” than the other.
Every labor has its own rhythm. Some babies come earthside swiftly, while others take their time as mom and baby work together through the process.
Our role is never to rush what the body is designed to do. We respect the natural pace of labor, support mamas through each stage, and stay prepared when birth decides to move fast.
Because physiological birth isn’t about fitting into a clock. It’s about honoring the process, trusting the body, and providing steady support no matter how long it takes.
Fast or slow, calm or intense, every birth story matters. ❤️
