Tonight’s patients: my own two littles.
Ages 5 and 7, full energy, and surprisingly willing to let mom work her myo magic.
We did some gentle hands-on work to release tension in their little necks, jaws, and faces. Kids hold so much more tension than we realize—especially when you think about the wild ways they sleep (we’ve all seen the car seat slump or the neck-bent-backwards couch nap 😅).
Manual therapy helps loosen up those tight muscles and fascia, making the myofunctional exercises we practice way more effective. It supports better sleep, posture, and function—especially for kids with jaw pain, open-mouth breathing, or clenching habits. Plus—it just feels good.
These girls never cease to amaze me. They showed up, stayed surprisingly still, and left with relaxed faces and a calm little energy (mom win!) 💕
