I’ve been drinking this tea during my period and for a few days after to support my body as it replenishes and resets for the next cycle.
This blend includes hibiscus, red raspberry leaf, nettle, lemon balm, oat straw, and tulsi, each chosen for their traditional medicinal properties.
☆Red raspberry leaf is rich in magnesium and iron, two minerals commonly depleted during menstruation. Replenishing them can support energy, mood stability, sleep quality, and healthy blood sugar regulation throughout the rest of the cycle. It’s also traditionally used as a uterine tonic to support healthy uterine function.
☆Hibiscus is rich in polyphenols and supports the body’s natural detoxification processes, including the clearance of excess estrogen. Elevated estrogen can contribute to bloating, mood swings, and heavier periods in the following cycle. Hibiscus also supports circulation and has anti-inflammatory properties.
☆Nettle leaf is one of the most nutrient-dense herbs, providing bioavailable iron, calcium, magnesium, and trace minerals that help rebuild the body after blood loss.
☆Lemon balm is a gentle nervine that helps calm the nervous system, ease tension, and support mood stability during hormonal shifts. It’s also traditionally used to ease digestive discomfort and mild cramping associated with menstruation.
☆Oat straw deeply nourishes the nervous system and is rich in minerals that support adrenal and nervous system resilience. It’s often used for people experiencing depletion, fatigue, or heightened stress.
☆Tulsi (holy basil) is an adaptogenic herb widely used in Ayurvedic medicine to help regulate the stress response. It supports cortisol balance, mood stability, and immune resilience while also helping reduce systemic inflammation.
Together, this blend helps replenish minerals lost during menstruation, support hormone metabolism, calm the nervous system, and gently reduce inflammation as the body transitions into the next phase of the cycle.
